Another Day Of Weird

Look! I knit a row…

I’m beginning to think that 2020 is trying to squeeze in as much weird as possible before 2021 starts.

My day started with the new furnace, the one I was told is very reliable, repeatedly trying to turn on, bang and turn off. It happened three times so we turned it off and called the company. The technician arrived within a couple of hours and could not duplicate it. The whole basement smelled like oil but he could find nothing wrong. He said if it does it again call. Good thing these are covered under the service contract and that we have plenty of warm clothes/blankets for when the furnace is turned off.

Another monolith appeared. This time in Romania. I added this weirdness to my collection of conspiracy theory mysteries. The number of weird things in my day just keep getting larger. Who knows what will happen next. I’ll be watching. I suspect 2020 isn’t done with us yet.

Do you have an oil furnace? We have had ours fixed but I’m worried. It’s old. I hope yours is fixed soon. What’s your conspiracy theory? Mine is Aliens!

    • We have an oil furnace. It was just installed in October so it’s a bit disconcerting that we’ve had to have technicians out twice.
I don’t have a favorite conspiracy theory. I’m sure there are tiny bits of fact in them. I do find the Roswell story from the 1940’s interesting because the first person witnesses to the metal are so positive that what they saw and held was not the same material that is in the government approved photo.

Oh boy, hope your furnace gets it act together soon. And very weird about these monoliths popping up in places.
