Great Progress

I was making great progress on Trillian before the calendar turned to August and Camp Loopy called. Trillian is a fantastic pattern. It’s easy to remember so there is no checking back with the pattern to see what’s next for the majority of it. I’m currently at the point where I’ll knit for a while and then weight my ball of yarn. I’m trying to get to the magic number so I can do the last little finishing bit. But it will now be on hold while I get Dayton finished. It feels kind of strange to have two projects I really want to knit. How about you? Are you enjoying your projects?

  1. It is stunning, and seems to be knitting up so fast. Well done. At the moment I have only one project going, knitting a sweater. I feel like I need one or two more. 🙂 At least something to crochet too, for those non knitting days. Thank goodness it is weekend, and I can check my stash for something.

I know what you mean… I really want to knit on my WIPs, which I’m going to take as a positive thing, but I just wish I had two sets of hands or just more time 😉

I love the Trillian pattern! It works well with finer yarns than the one recommended (you just need more of it).

4 on the needles right now and 3 are good, 1 is just going to be a slog until it’s done. But I will not allow myself to start one more project! This is my limit.

It looks lovely. When you’re enthusiastic about a couple of projects it’s surprising how much you get done. I’m enjoying knitting ‘Backbone’ by Kristen Hanley Cardozo at every opportunity at the moment 😃

I love that yarn! I finally finished my Close to You shawl. I was playing yarn chicken at the end and I won! Had about 10-15 yards of yarn left – whew! 🙂

Looks great! I love the colours of that shawl 😍 I really want to start a jumper but I also really want to finish my shawl so I think I’ll finish the shawl first 😊
