Forward Ho

My bar has gotten really low for a blog photo. This is what happens when you spend the evening straightening out your project and getting the next step done before bed. The top half of the vest is the back, the big hole is the neck and the bottom of the photo is the front. I currently have it on two needles. Had I read ahead and realized I’d be working the front as long as I have I would have swapped the needles. I’m using one with a cord that misbehaves. It has its own mind. I spend all my time trying to adjust the loops as it loops back on itself. Not pleasurable knitting.

You’ll notice I’ve had to spread a sheet on the couch. A certain someone has taken to digging a comfortable spot every time he sits on the couch. He will not listen to reason. The couch will not fluff up. So he’s now fluffing up the sheet. I can live with that.

  1. Can’t you just switch now to the other needles, at the end of a row just use the new needle in your right hand surely? Then you’ve switched by the end of the row.

  2. Your vest is looking great! I know the curse of the late-night project photo for the blog too 🙂 Myles – you are hassling your mom with your sofa digging!

The fix looks great, onward! I have been covering our dark couches with white sheets on not days and I think it makes them cooler to sit on. The whole fluffing thing is something isn’t it? Max has to “fluff” the wood chips on the path before he lays on them!

Glad you are back on track! I still haven’t finished the shawl I brought to work on. I am ready to cast off, since Tuesday night. Maybe I will get it done by Sunday? LOL

You did good getting the vest back on track. Misbehaving cords in needles is a real pain. Misbehaving dogs on the couch are one of life’s challenges. My dogs keep locking our couch and the microfiber is starting to “disappear ” in spots.

Well done on the progress! I’ve finally got the yarn for the shawl you made last month. But the scarf has to be finished first. Slowly, slowly…

Our chihuahua does the same thing. She has been banned from sofas.
