This is a short one!
How did you come up with the name of your blog? Way back in the 90’s there was a McDonalds commercial with Larry Bird and Michael Jordan with the phrase nothing but net. It was very cute with them shooting baskets from all over the court, in the seats and up high in the bleachers. When I was thinking about starting my blog I just knew it would be Nothing But Knit. It’s also a play on how I like to spend my time.

Once upon a time my blog was named nomadic needing nurse because I was travel contract nursing and moving every 13 weeks to interesting places. Now, I am hunkered down into one place and thus the word nomadic dropped off. Sometimes I miss being nomadic!

Nice to know the story of how you named your blog! I don’t remember that commercial (probably because it involved basketball and my brain just turns off for most sports).

Lol I loved those ads! Especially the super bowl series that included “off of Leslie Visser’s head” and then a few minutes later, Leslie is down on the field doing an intro to a short bit and a basketball bounces off her head. It was the funniest commercial I have ever seen. I do hope it didn’t hurt Leslie!

I had been jokingly called the crow (I talk a lot and my laugh is rather loud). When I was looking for names for my blog, I realized my initials were CAW….thus CAWcreations was born with the bird on the logo.
One of my early posts was a justification about why the crow and CAW is such a great name. Really, it was my initials and loud laugh that sealed the deal.
