There Is No Denying It

Leaves and snow on the ground at the same time is just wrong.

Summer is over and winter is soon upon us. Way sooner than I would like for sure. We had a minor snowfall event yesterday afternoon and last night. You would never have know it was going to be minor had you been at the grocery store shortly beforehand. N was thrilled to walk home from school while the snow was flying. Rain is expected so this snow will be but a memory soon.

Cold feet!

Guess who else wasn’t too happy when we went outside last night. He kept looking at me like it was my fault.

Only in New England can it snow on a Wednesday and then the following Monday reach a high temp of 68 degrees. I’m really hoping that the weather predictions are right!

It sure seems like fall was just a blink of an eye this year! Hopefully spring comes early and winter is gentle with us!

It’s way too early for snow, as far as I’m concerned! The forecasters really got this one wrong – we were only supposed to get a few flurries and maybe a little bit sticking in the grass, not 3-4 inches! Back in the upper 60’s on Monday – get the bikinis and sunscreen ready – woohooo!!!! 🙂

Of course it was your fault, you didn’t clear the path for him. He had to walk on cold snow. LOL! We saw a brief flash of that before leaving Indianapolis today. But once south of the city the sun shown the way home. Not a drop of anything in Southern Indiana, thank goodness!
