I have knit a bit more on the vest. It’s coming along fine. I’m finding myself craving some socks. It’s been a while since I cast on a new pair. The stash has plenty of single fingering weight yarn to choose from. So I did a quick dive into the top layer and pulled out this lovely skein. It was a gift from a friend. The label says Icemelon’s stash but when I went poking around on Ravelry, looking to see what others made with this yarn, I learned the name has changed to Supernova Dyeworks. This is Desmos sock in the my other ride is a unicorn colorway. I’m just going to knit some top down plain stockinette socks with a 2×2 rib. My standard plain pattern for letting the yarn shine. It’s been a bit since I’ve juggled a couple of projects. Hopefully I still remember how.
pretty sure you can juggle more than two projects, even

I wish I had your focus to Not work on more than one project at a time 🤣
I usually have about 5 active ones, plus around 15 other WIPs laying around 🙈😅

I limit myself to three normally. Socks for portability, something that requires a lot of attention and something mindless. It works most of the time:)

I’m the same way, don’t like more than 3 projects going at one time, I find it stressful, however I find my self with 5 projects that are screaming to be done because they will have deadlines. 😦 so I’m officially stressed out.

I wonder what it is that makes us crave sock knitting – I just cast on another pair last night because my hands NEEDED it.

Exactly! I think I get an extra hit of dopamine when I knit socks. It’s my most relaxed pleasant knitting. I probably crave it more when I’m stressed.

I am on the skirt portion of a baby dress. Endless St st in the round. Hmm, maybe I should have inserted a lace pattern?
