When Not Knitting My Fingers Off

I have been knitting, a lot. The sock is almost done. A knitter does not survive by knitting alone. Exercise is vital. We took a lovely walk on a beautiful day near Fresh Pond in Cambridge. Everything was so lush and green. Of course the air was sticky and humid. We enjoyed the views, worked up a sweat and then enjoyed the air conditioning in the car on the way home.

  4. I was thinking just that, earlier today. Can’t live on crocheting and knitting alone, as I just started my 3rd week with hardly any steps on my Fitbit, at all! 🙈
Going to do a workout tonight, and going for a walk tomorrow! 💪🏻

Looks like you enjoyed a lovely scenery 😍

  6. Walking in our park is my listening to a mindless novel time. I sweated off a few calories today, and more tomorrow. I get totally out of sorts when I can’t walk. Now, when this “what the bloody hell was I thinking taking this course” is over, I’ll be able to get back to my knitting!

Even though you say sticky and hot, that sure looks cool and serene! Girl #2 is arriving in Boston this evening for a couple of days before she moves in to her new apartment in New Haven. I think she forgot about the humidity after living in MT this last year!

I have been sewing my fingers off! Binding around a 51″x51′ size quilt means a lot of binding! But that’s nothing compared to a queen size quilt, so I guess I won’t complain too much! Lovely view.
