Today is the day Camp Loopy starts. My yarn is wound. I found some needles. Casting on will commence later today.
I did run into a wee problem. My most favorite needles seem to be among the missing. They aren’t in the needle box or my usual sock project bag. I suspect they’ve been tucked away in the UFO bin. There isn’t time for a hunt today but one of these days I’ll have to dive into the bin and see if I can find them.

Remember, when you diving into that bin it’s for one reason; to find those needles.
You will find yarns in there. They will tempt you.
I know this from personal experience.
Lost needles are also a common problem and, the last time, I just bought new ones. Someday, there will be a surprise when I find the missing size 3, 5, and 6 long circulars. Hopefully, they’re not hanging onto WIPs that I forgot about.

I’ll do my best to avoid the yarn trap that is my stash:) The needles are probably in a UFO I didn’t have the courage to rip.

Camp loopy? Does that mean camping at home/camping elsewhere/camping in the lounge?? Someone else said what I was going to suggest – hopefully your needles aren’t hanging onto WIPs you’ve forgotten about! Or is that just what happens in my house? Last time I was hunting for a pair I found one only – thought I’d lost the other – turned up the very next day in the same bag I’d looked in! Think there’s a cheeky knitting stick fairy somewhere …..

How many times have I put something in a “special” place so I would not lose them, and then later I have no idea where that is!

I do it with every category of item. The needles will turn up or I’ll stumble over another set:)

Those look like awfully tiny needles!! I don’t think I own a pair of that size anymore. LOL

They are size 1. I have swapped them out for size 2. They are only .25mm different but in comparison they seem huge.

I tend to just buy another set. Which may be why I have about 6 pairs of size 6 needles. I hope you find them and I can’t wait to see what you’re making.
