Let’s have a Quiz!

How about a quiz for this fine Friday. If you’d like to answer on your blog leave a link in the comments otherwise feel free to leave your answers.

  • It’s April 16 and it is snowing outside. How is the weather out your window?
  • I’ve been thinking about my next knitting project. I’m feeling the need to knit a sweater. What do you feel like making?
  • I’ve been lazy with my baking this week after baking bread every few days for a couple of weeks. Have you been baking? Bonus points if you share a tasty recipe.
  • Lately I’ve been craving fruit so I bought bananas, grapes and clementines. What have you been craving? Do you give in to your cravings?
  • I still haven’t deeply cleaned my living room. I’ll be starting in on it this weekend. Do you spring clean? Are you someone who does a small amount of cleaning every day or do you do a large amount at one time? I do a mix of both and I’m more likely to spring clean than fall clean.

    Happy Friday!
No snow, but it is damp and chilly
My next knitting project is going to be a sweater to replace my last fail. 🙂
No baking for me but you can find my favorite scone recipe here: https://cosmicknitter.com/2021/02/20/oh-those-scones/
I do give into my cravings because they don’t necessarily go away. I am craving shellfish. Weird, I know.
I do certain cleaning tasks this time of year. The big one is wiping all the funk that accumulates on the window sashes. I rarely do BIG cleaning. I like to take one task at a time.

  2. It’s cloudy and warm outside!
I don’t feel like making anything. I have a sock I need to work on though.
I have not been baking, but I am hoping to can some potatoes next week.
I have been craving chocolate – guess it’s time for some more beans/healthy sources of magnesium!
I clean all the time – for myself and other people. Spring is a great time to throw the windows open and get a little fresh air! 🙂

It’s raining here and chilly. I am still working on a shawl and fingerless gloves that I was working on last year at this time. I have been craving salads lately, it helps balance out the alcohol I’ve been drinking. I started spring cleaning last weekend. It is a slow process for me because I’m having surgery on my lower back next week and can only work a little bit at a time.

  4. Snow here this morning – see photos of a white coated spring: https://kayak2016blog.wordpress.com/2021/04/16/snowy-morning-in-connecticut/
I have almost completed the bottom ribbing of a sweater for oldest granddaughter.
Haven’t been baking in the past week. Too busy!
I’ve been craving asparagus. And I always need chocolate! If it’s healthy food I crave, I try to eat some – I figure my body is trying to tell me something. (If I’m craving chips, I try to resist!) And a little chocolate every day keeps the blues at bay.
I spring clean the camper – it’s on the list now – and clean the house sporadically and in small pieces.
After I finish the sweater, I’m not sure what’s next for the needles. I have a long list of possibilities from stash. But before I finish the sweater, I need to piece a quilt for an impending infant.

Lovely autumn day here, I just cast on my first ever knitted socks so I’ll see how they go! No baking lately, craving coffee right now. I clean all the time, bigger clean on weekend though. Thanks for this quiz 👍❤️

This morning we had snow, but it melted off by mid afternoon.
Nothing new, I’d just like to finish something!
I need to bake bread tomorrow, and I was thinking that it might be time for cinnamon rolls.
    Fruit for me too!
I try to deep clean one room a month. Monday morning is my cleaning day.

Colder temps than normal, but no snow. Where’s this global warming they keep threatening us with?
I just need to finish an afghan and shawl and then baby knitting!!!
I have bananas frozen for bread, but need motivation!
I bought Granny Smith and bananas, and Marzetti’s Cream Cheese Dip. LOL
I don’t clean, I let Roomba do my sweeping. I can’t do noxious cleaners. JoAnn fabric about kills me with their spraying and wiping counters after EVERY PERSON THEY CUT FABRIC FOR OR RING OUT AT THE REGISTER!!! Because you know, fabric and merchandise spreads the COVID. Today I had to ask both clerks to not spray after the people in front of me. By the time I got out of there I had a raging headache and irritated cough.

  9. It’s actually warming up here – 45 today!
I feel like casting on everything in the world right now. But really I’ll just keep working on my sweater and wrap. Might cast on socks for the DH
I baked pizza for supper tonight – not much other baking going on right now
I have been craving salad and fruit lately too – maybe because there’s much better produce available all of a sudden!
I clean little bits at a time and deep clean every once in a while – probably nowhere near as often as I should 🙂
    Good quiz as always!

It’s April 17 and it is partly cloudy and cold, 36 degrees.
What do you feel like making? I want to sew my overalls.
Have you been baking? No 🙃
I have also been craving fruit. Bob bought mangos, papayas, pineapple, and bananas for me. I almost always give in to my cravings.
I do not spring clean. I clean every Saturday morning for an hour or so, and that’s it.

I have been eating frozen grapes. Put them in the freezer, then eat them like candy. I am knitting some “Knitted Knockers” (knitted prosthetics for women who have had a mastectomy). I was trying to knit while watching TV last evening, with only a small lamp on, and I noticed what looked like a dropped stitch or some other problem. ARgg that is the problem with knitting while distracted, and with not enough light.
