Outside My Window

The storm is upon us

I knew when I went to bed last night that the first flakes of the storm had started to fall. I knew when I heard the plows and salt spreads all night long that the snow was falling. Today will involve snow shoveling at some point. It will also involve some holiday prep and I’ll wrap up my Loopy Ewe TAG requirements. Maybe there will be knitting. How does your day look?

  2. We received eight inches of the 12-18 predicted and I believe the storm is well past us. Mr. Aitch used the snowblower this morning but some shoveling still needs to be done.

Sewing is in my future sometime today along with getting some gifts wrapped to mail.

  3. Wow – you guys got some snow! My day will involve work, then grocery shopping. Hopefully will be able to fit a little knitting in there somewhere 🙂

Yikes! It certainly doesn’t look like that! I hope you all are safe and warm and enjoying the cookies and hot cocoa.

  5. Well my day looked like a short call to company to fix a problem and it ended with me not very kindly, shouting at a person. I don’t like to shout . But I was fed up. I did tell the rep to please not take it personally but their company really messed up and it can be costly. So tomorrow, no discussions of this particular situation. Just kind words in our home. For the whole day .

We need some of your snow! In the Midwest we have a severe lack of it, so my husband cannot use the snowmobile he bought recently. I will be working on getting the house ready for our son and his fiance to visit, preparing for a grocery run tomorrow (so I don’t have to go out next week), and hopefully do some knitting.

There was more snow than spaces to put it. We received 2 feet easily. I spent the better part of the day outside moving it.

That was a pretty good dump, but not terribly ill timed! We had ours last week, and now its melting away, though it was very powdery.

I know that I am a few days behind you (but i always enjoy my catch up!!)… what I wouldn’t give for a snowy outside to make being locked down alone a bit better. I could make a snowman in my garden!
