We started decorating for Christmas. The tree is up and it has lights. Ornaments will be placed soon. The lights are in the window and a few little decorations are sprinkled around.
Christmas shopping is next.
I’m still not up for knitting. I’ve been playing games on my phone.
I’m so boring.
I’ve been surfing Ravelry, LOL.

If it is any consolation there’s a lot of inching along going on here to. 🙂

Well we are doing it all backwards this year! Gifts are almost all ready to SHIP. That was my priority . I didn’t want shipping delays. Usually we wrap mid month. The music has been on. But the trees are still waiting to be put up. Maybe monday?

We have the tree up, no ornaments yet. It always takes me a while to get motivated to add them. But all the other decorations are out!

I finally took out some decorations on Friday, and that gave me a boost. The tree is outside 8n a bucket of water and will come in after church tomorrow, maybe I’ll get the lights on after supper. It is always a slow process for me too!

I did gift shopping early (Oct-Nov) apart from one person who I still need to buy for. Christmas puddings are made and resting. Tree and the few other decorations are up. But every year I put off writing cards and letters, and have to force myself into it which is odd, given my predeliction for stationery. I haven’t picked up my knitting for a couple of days so I need to do some today – once I pick it up I tend to do a reasonable amount, it’s picking it up in the first place that’s the difficult bit for me!

You’re not boring! We are in the middle of a crazy world situation so everyone is doing the best they can and protecting their energy. The tree is lovely!

Sweetums brought the tree up three days ago. It’s still laying in the middle of the room. It hasn’t motivated me.

The white lights on the tree are beautiful. Why knit when you can sit and admire them in the abundant darkness? We are all inching along – some quicker, some slower than others. Remember the fable of the tortoise and the hare.

We found our tree yesterday after searching at several garden shops. My husband Insists on a tree that touches the ceiling, it’s a 12 foot ceiling. Needless to say I do not let him off the hook as far as decorating if he’s going to buy such a large tree he’s going to help decorate it, especially the lights. I found them in the basement in piles all tangled together, why I don’t know since I always roll them up and wrap them with ribbons to keep them from tangling. Must be the 2020 gremlins. Anyway the tree got decorated last night to Christmas carols and frosted brownies and somehow we avoided divorce. Lol seriously it was such a nice evening and we both put our phones away which was a major help.

Your tree is looking nice. I’ve spent a lot of this year going through stages of being able to knit or not

That’s a pretty photo, I like the effect of the lights in darkness.
