I love how red the Japanese Maples get in the fall. I wish my yard was full of them. Alas our two trees have died. I have to enjoy others now.
In the continued weirdness category, we had an earthquake yesterday. Yes, I live in New England. Earthquakes are not unheard of here though they usually are small enough that we don’t know they’re earthquakes. This one was a 3.6 which gave our house a good shake causing the windows to rattle.
What weirdness have you experienced lately?
What a gorgeous color those leaves are! It made me think of the #tinyredleaf posts on Instagram. Glad the earthquake didn’t cause any damage.

You mean besides the election?

We should have rescheduled the election to 1/1/2021 just to get away from the bad juju that is 2020;)

There’s been a lot of crazy bird activity in my backyard. They are lining up to take drinks from my birdbath every day for the past week. It makes me wonder what’s in the water.

Japanese maples really are so lovely! We had earthquakes here too over the weekend – they shook us up pretty well. Glad yours didn’t do any damage!

Glad you are too! It is really weird to be able to feel them where you are – just more 2020!

We’ve been having white days. White clouds and a light mist cover everything. The light seems filtered. It’s eerie and kind of nice at the same time.

I call that mood weather:) We are having unseasonably warm weather. I think today is the last day. The cooler temperatures and rain are supposed to start tomorrow.

Those maples are so vivid! We’ve not had any earthquakes here lately, though it happens once in awhile. Glad yours was small!

OMG! I can’t believe you felt that earthquake. Isn’t it trippy? It’s like tornados. Since when is the northeast prone to tornados? Not to mention temps in the mid-70s in November.

Felt the earthquake on The Cape, they. The earthquake register website said it was 4.6. Since I grew up in California Bay Area, I knew what it was right away. It set the corgi alarm off as the dogs barked all the way through it!
