Yesterday Was For Knitting

We spent a lot of yesterday just sitting around. I made the best of my sitting by knitting at the same time. I spent two hours working on Vary the Gate. That added nearly a dozen rows. Then after dinner I pulled out One & Done and did a dozen rows. There is progress on both. Next I’ve got to work on the baby blanket.

How are your projects going? Are you spreading your attention or concentrating on one?

Beautiful! I absolutely love how productive you are! I am quite proud of a knitted log cabin blanket that I just finished. It was a fun way to use up a lot of yarns in my stash. However, I’m in the middle of a hooded cowl that is a Christmas gift and just found a major mistake about 8 inches back. Sigh. The project that I thought would be finished this week will not. 😦

  2. In my head I am committed to finishing my Heather Sweater, but in fact I am doing a ton of non-knitting things and have to force myself to sit down and work on it. On the general knitting front, I’m more inspired by planning what to concentrate on next year than to actually working on this year’s projects. Silly me.

  3. I’m plugging away on an easy shawl (garter panel, feather and fan panel) since I am not able to focus enough to sew buttons on the body of a cardigan. Too much election suspense.

  4. I’m waiting on larger needles to arrive for a chunky quick knit sweater…hopefully they’ll arrive today!

Happy Friday! I am concentrating on one project in particular. I would love to spread it out to include my socks, but the wool is a deep purple and my eyes are tired when I have a bit of knitting time.

  6. I really love the color of this shawl! I am primarily working just on my sweater and my Slipstravaganza shawl, but I’ve also bopped around to some blanket squares and work on my ripple bralette, so kind of both? haha

Looks great! I’m working on a basket but have three other projects, unusual for me but I’m enjoying it 👍

  9. You are making great progress! I am working away on all my projects, but think maybe I better just focus on one and get it done so the others will move along a little more 🙂

It’s looking good! I’m currently switching between three different blanket projects – I probably should focus on just one and try get something finished!

Nicely done! I have another stocking to finish today, only a few rows to do on it, then I’ll cast on the next one and decide its pattern so I am ready to go tomorrow.

I’ve knitted a little this week on my shawl; that made me happy.
