I had hoped to get the last little bit of the cowl knit between last night and today but that didn’t happen. I did get some done though so I shouldn’t be too hard on myself. The biggest hurdle with the cowl will be weaving in the ends. There are a ton of them.

What is challenging you about your projects? Maybe we can get through the hard part together.

I need to finish the last three rows with three yarns on my Orkney, but I’m putting it off until I have Christmas stuff at least started!

  2. I’m knitting a brioche sweater in sideways construction. So there is just so much knitting! I knit and knit and knit and it only grows a little bit

I hate weaving in ends too. I’ve just been working on mitred granny squares in two colours. That’s 12 ends to weave in in every six inch square. Ugh!

I need to sew up baby sweater pieces. Each time I make the pattern I swear I am going to do it in 1 piece. And each time I don’t! Oh well, it’s small and easy to seam for the most part.

I dislike assembling and weaving in ends. I pick patterns that have the minimum amount.

Starting the base of a basket, the constant counting and checking if I have the correct number of stitches is annoying 😂

Right now the hard part is that between all the handwashing from The Rona and it being cold/flu season and it having already started to get cold, my poor fingers are cracking wide open. The other hard part is finding the energy to knit after doing all of the house stuff that needs to be done.

The most challenging part of my projects is finding the time to devote to working on them. I know I am not alone in this.

:O( tendonitis, I’m afraid. I may try knitting again at the dining room table. The couch may not be giving me enough support now.
