WIP Wednesday: Much Better

I ripped out the start of the shawl and cast on with the next size needle. I was able to find a longer needle too which is much more comfortable. Part of the reason my stitches were so tight was the fact that I was using a 16” needle. It was causing me to grip the needle. This probably added to my tight edge. Anyway, I’m much happier with the fabric and the subtle design is starting to be more obvious.

I haven’t completed the second clue on the Secret Handshake MKAL cowl. I haven’t even finished the first section of the clue. There should be time to work on it today while I wait for the guy to come look at the furnace. It is misbehaving and I’m hoping they can fix it. If not I see a new furnace in our future.

We are also having furnace issues. We called to have it serviced but it’s still acting up. Glad you are happier with the shawl!

  2. I still love that yarn, and the texture. You definitely want your furnace to work – it’s getting colder!
