A Post From Myles

Hello Humans who yarn. I want you to know I am available to help you with your projects. I don’t care about color or fiber content though wool is extra tasty, I mean yummy, no, enjoyable. Just think of all the extra time you’ll get to play with your yarn if I give you a hand. My human got an extra two hours untangling, I mean fondling this. I don’t even charge for my services. If you’re interested just let me know or leave your yarn unattended in my presence. I hope I can help you soon.

I feel your pain! Have I ever shared my photo of my dachshund, Baxter, and the skein of Hans-spun QUVIUT YARN after he got finished with it? 😢😂😯

  2. Oh dear Miles! Thanks for the offer but I think I’ll pass on the help. 😉🐩

  3. Oh Myles! Maybe help your human a little bit less and just encourage her with snuggles?

  4. Roxy never really developed an appetite for yarn, so any time my yarn’s ended up looking like that, it’s been of my own doing.

Myles, I’d say try for less “helping” and more snuggling. Especially after Mama untangles all that yarn. She’s gonna need it.

Maybe if Myles had his own yarn stash, he’d be less interested in yours?? 🙂

Bad, bad, bad, puppy. Myles is not the first pup to find yarn enjoyable to play with. I have one that grabbed a skein of sock yarn and ran all over the house with it. He went around couches, table legs, under desks, etc. Then proceeded out the doggie door into the back yard with it. Yes, he is still living and yes, I still love him lol.

I’m so glad my cats have never really taken an interest in my yarn like that!

Yikes! Pippy doesn’t seem to be too interested in my yarn but her kitty brothers Eric and Garth definitely are. I have to be very careful about keeping my yarn put up where they can’t get to it.

Oh Myles, I had no idea of your dedication to help your mom with her knitting. From your point of view thinking you were proud of yourself … all the way until you heard saw your loving mom’s reaction. Just hoping she hugged and kissed you —— 🙂

  14. Dear Myles: I’d be happy to come play with yarn with you – I have waaayyy too much, and could use the help! Then we could put it out for the birds in the spring. Unfortunately, we have this pesky pandemic limiting our ability to travel, and visit…

We just got kittens. I am amazed at how they are drawn by yarn. I was trying to wind a skein into a ball, set it aside for two seconds, and bam! Cat entagled in yarn! Lots of fun untang-… I mean fondling it as I got it straightened out.

  16. Oh, my favorite dog/yarn story: I was visiting friends with a youngish puppy. We were getting along great, and then I joined the family at the table for dinner, leaving my knitting it its bag next to me. When I next looked, Aubrey had taken the knitting, needles and all, half way across the room and was lying with the knitting on her paws, and her chin on the knitting! No damage, just looking for attention!

    Awww. 😦

    Miles though
    😅

I did a bit of untangling myself this weekend. My sock wool was tangled half way through the skein. I spent more time detangling than anything.
