WIP Wednesday: Which To Knit Edition

I’ve been doing a pretty good job of dividing my time between the cowl and the baby blanket. As you can see both have grown a bit. I’m finding myself knitting one and thinking about switching to the other pretty regularly so it’s been easy.

The cowl is a lot of fun to knit. Nearly every row is different so it sure isn’t boring. I’ve been diligently keeping track of the rows so I don’t get mixed up.

How are your projects going?

Oh wow I love the cowl! I’m kind of between a rainbow baby blanket and a beanie, but my blanket may be morphing into something else, not sure 🤔

I often have 2 or 3 WIPs and knit whatever takes my fancy or suits my attention span! I prefer something straightforward in the evening when I’m usually watching TV too.

I also have a cowl and a blanket going, and I’m still plugging away on my second PSL sock. Your blanket looks so soft!

The shawl is going well. I do have to say, I blame you for the yarn I ordered yesterday. I got to thinking about a cowl, went looking for patterns, realized I didn’t have the right yarn, and well… Anyway, I got yarn for a cowl, a shawl, and probably two other shawls. 😀

After a few false starts, the Five Roses shawl is finally chugging along, the Gray Days Reboot sweater behaving nicely and the socks still haven’t decided what they want to be when they grow up, but it’s all good on the knitting front.

  8. Your blanket is really growing. I would have a hard time putting that cowl down.

  9. Both the blanket and the cowl are looking great! The cowl is so colorful and lovely, and the blanket looks so soft and cozy 🙂 Glad you are enjoying both projects!

  10. I love the colors on the cowl! I imagine the complexity of that one provides a nice break from the blanket, or vice versa the blanket provides a nice break from the complexity! I’ve been very monogamous lately trying to finish my sweater but I’m almost done with the first sleeve!

Great progress on both-your cowl color pop is splendid! I worked on “The Coat” yesterday, I want it finished enough to get some feedback on size and the sleeves at the wool contest this afternoon. If they agree with my guesses, I can hem the lining in on the sleeves and back and then it just needs closures…hurrah!
