The Husband is so excited. He has a summer squash on his plant. I’d be more excited if he was growing chocolate.
I agree but I do like summer squash.

Squash is good but Chocolate is best!
make a loaf of chocolate zucchini bread out of it!
My husband thinks the same thing! I am Very happy with the squash growing in my garden! Of course he loves tomatoes and I would rather see potato chips out there!
I understand, I go out and count our winter squash about every other day!
I do like squash, but chocolate would be better.
My favorite kind of squash!! A chocolate squash would be even better. 🙂
My son loves summer squash roasted with vidalia onions and olive oil. I’ve never liked it because we always had it boiled to death when I was as a kid.
I like it pan fried with onions and butter until they are caramelized. Yum!! My mom gave us boiled squash when I was a kid, too. Why did they do that?! It’s a wonder that I like vegetables at all as an adult.
I had to uproot and throw out all my squash plants they were covered with a little white flies, tiny ones. My flowers and vegetables just did not do much this year, they were all very 2020.
We have something eating our tomatoes and squash. Takes them off the vine and out. Very sly.
We have a squirrel stealing our cucumbers. A neighbor who is a long time gardener said he thinks it’s because we are having a drought. Cucumbers have a lot of water so the squirrel is smart enough to know that. We did manage to grab a couple for us though:)
That makes sense. I have cucumbers in my garden as well, and have only seen two get to full size.
Yaaaaay! It is always so satisfying to get some produce out of your garden. But I agree, if the plants grew chocolate, that would be even more satisfying 🙂
If he could grow calorie free yummy chocolate, he could become a very rich man… 😉
lol Me too!
Ooh, that looks spectacular!
My fiance hates chocolate so I am in the same boat. Thanks for this post as it made me laugh
