Myles has been wiped out by the new found heat. It was 90F here yesterday. Today is to be cooler. The plan is chores, a walk if the rain cooperates, and lots of knitting. I should have something to show tomorrow. How about you? How are you spending your Sunday?
Still, be Saturday here (though it may be Sun by the time I post this LOL) BUT… I will share that too. Today, I went to get some moving boxes from someone on FB. I am packing from my apartment, the lease is up the end of the month. Then we start a new place together, Aug. I’ll live with Q for a month, officially, in between. It was disgusting outside today here as well. I was soaking wet just hopping out to grab the boxes. Other than that we discussed the layout of the new place, merging more things, watched Malcom X, and I am about 1/4 into Chapter 12 of my novel. Hoping to post it tomorrow… maybe. I am really want to finish this by the end of summer. About 40K / 80-100K done. So Sunday, we are probably going to pack a couple of things. I am waking to make her flourless pancakes (playing Jack Johnson’s banana pancake song…). We have a family zoom call around 9AM. I will drink lots of coffee and write more. Maybe nap some since I have been staying up with the quiet house to myself. Her kiddos are at their dad’s so that will change tomorrow as well. Since we tested everyone at the plant for COVID – I cannot go back to work until I get my negative letter – maybe Monday? I will just plan on WFH Monday since I didn’t’ get it yet. Sigh. Oh well, for now.
Miles looks comfy. Knit something awesome on your Sunday!

My Sunday will be collecting elderflower heads for cordial, planting some tubs with bedding and finishing my current weaving project. The rain has passed so, the gardens are all watered, which is good and desperately needed because a lot of the hedgerows were really drying up and I thought we might lose the next splash of colour from them.

It started lazy and will continue lazy! But definitely sewing will happen. Maybe I can make myself knit.

I plan yardwork until the heat becomes unbearable, and then painting and sewing.

I’m hoping to get my walk in before the heat hits. This afternoon two friends are coming over for socially distant knitting. Other than that I’m hoping to pick up my house.

I have a list this am…fence around the Brussels sprouts while the kiddy pool fills, then GET THE DUCKS OUT OF THE HOUSE. They are now teen age minsters! 😆 Next, online church (they opened today, but I’m staying home for another week or two I think) then the sewing room until after supper! I’ll be knitting too, I’m going to try that with my brace on and see if I can get the hang of that and do more than just one row in a sitting.

Gotta amend two FEC financial reports and file the one due on Thursday. Those items will use up whatever brainpower I have.

OMG that is hot! I’m with Myles – exhausted by even thinking about it. Stay cool! I was mostly lazy and knitted most of the day today.

I pretended I was Myles – I napped!

Yesterday was thankfully cooler for us but yeah, when it’s hot here the cats find a dining table chair to sleep on and don’t want to move.

I had to put the air conditioner on for Razz on Saturday. I felt so badly for him. I love the heat, but like Myles, Razz has tons of floof.
