Juggling WIPs

Or Karen and the KALs. You decide on the title.

Today is Thursday so I should be updating you on my Arachne. I think I’ve done a few more rows. But I can’t remember.

I haven’t picked up the rainbow socks since I did that tiny bit I showed you the other day. The plan is to do a few rows both in the morning and in the evening.

I’ve been concentrating on Camp Loopy. It is my most solid deadline. I’ve completed 35 of the 113 rows.

In other news, I’ve got the sourdough feeding in the hope that I can bake a loaf later. Really I’ve got way too much going on at once and I’m not doing any of them justice.

  1. I can relate to burning the candle at both ends. My fiance and I are looking at places, which we have applied for the one that we like. It is bigger than we have now – and would accommodate two adults a little better. However, we are blessed as is and would be okay as is – if we needed to stay for one reason or another. The plant I work at has a team member test positive for COVID, so it shut down and tested everyone today. Now we wait. So many crazy stories lead up to all of this merging. A lot of juggling materials. I think your potential for tangles looks like my mind feels atm. Ok, have a good night!

  2. Oh my gosh – you have a lot going on. Looking forward to seeing your shawl and hearing about how your sourdough comes out! Remember – Arachne is kind of a Halloween sweater, so plenty of time on that one 🙂

I definitely like “Karen and the KALs”. You can be the lead knitter in a fiber related punk band. Can I have your autograph?

I was literally just saying how I have too many projects going at once. Too many fingers in the pie, etc. I feel your pain.

I can feel your pain, 100%. I have a To Do list a mile long, one for home and one for work actually, and I’m not making any progress on either.

I have lots of fingers in lots of pies, but tonight I am celebrating; it’s Thursday and I am done teaching until Tuesday morning! Summer is here and I am ready to enjoy some sunshine, garden time and maybe finishing up ps few

A few things, I meant to say. I love the colors on that shawl, so pretty!

I am debating on whether to change my knitting style again since the tendonitis is on and off in my left wrist and elbow. I may have to switch to throwing.
