Myles had his hair done yesterday. He wasn’t happy about it at all. I keep telling him he’s a poodle and grooming is his lot in life. He doesn’t believe me.
Today is going to be a super busy day. I’ve got grocery shopping to do. Anyone else find this to be one of their most dreaded chore these days? I’m trying to go every two to three weeks but invariably I forget stuff or they’re just plain out of it and I have to run in later for a few things.
What I’m looking forward to is starting my two KALs. They are the carrot at the end of my stick that is chores. I’ve still got to buy the pattern for Camp Loopy but the yarn and needles are ready to go. I’ve also got the yarn and needles ready for the Blogville Pride Sock KAL. I can’t wait to get started!
He looks splendid! 🐕

Amazing what a hair trim can do for the spirits. Myles looks very handsome!
Our miniature Schnauzer loved going to the groomers. It was like a day at the spa for her and she would just strut around the house for several days after as she knew she was so pretty. Oh how I miss her.

Myles is a very handsome boy, and he’ll be much cooler too I bet, when the hot weather comes. Three KALs at once? You are amazing!

OK, he can’t believe he’s a Poodle, or that he has to get his hair did? LOL

The last time I went to whole foods people just seem to be all done with the social distancing. And I waited a half an hour in line to check out at 8:30 AM! After that never again I’ll eat grass I got lots of it

I dread food shopping. I go early every Monday morning. I make it a routine because I could find any number of reasons to punt it, and if I keep my list manageable, I can get in and out in less than an hour.
Hi Myles!!! You look so handsome!

I shopped this morning. It was nearly back to normal except for the one way aisles and everyone in face masks. There were only a few bare shelves and people seemed less panicked.

I relieved to hear that. Nothing worse than panic at the supermarket. We get that here with the threat of flurries!

When I groom my boys, both Standard Poodles, I tell them it’s a curse being beautiful.
Grocery shopping used to be a chore I did not mind, but it has become very stressful and exhausting. I’m also suffering from cooking fatigue. It’s hard to decide on two weeks worth of meals and than get everything at one time.

Myles you handsome baby! Don’t you feel better now? Be honest Myles, of course you do. Your skin feels great, your hair is out of your eyes. Come on Myles…..say it: “Woof woof woof!” (Translation: “I feel good!”)

I refuse to go more than once every week, refuse. Miss Pippy finally got an appointment with her groomer, yay! Poor girl can hardly see.

LOL, Myles. My neighbor gets charged $65 for her maltipoo. I remember I used to pay $60 for my Wire Fox. Buying groceries used to be a big chore for me. I do miss going anywhere to get ingriedents for baking anytime I wanted. My husband has pretty much taken over this for me now with Instacart and once in a while he’ll go to WF or Lucky’s.
