It Works!

The fix was quick too. The lamp didn’t require rewiring. It just needed a tightening of the screw that holds the whole thing together. It’s sad that someone would throw away a perfectly good item. A successful project for The Husband. Now he’s looking for another project.

Wonderful! I love to repair and renew old items. We have a sad old coffee table we are planning to refinish if we get the house.

Maybe he can order some shingles from Home Depot and reroof your house. Oh my God I am so glad my husband still goes to his business every day. Nice lamp by the way, LOL

The lamp is amazing! It really is a shame what people give up on these days. Good for y’all for seeing the potential in this little gem. ❤

I’m laughing because the “project” didn’t really solve the issue of needing a project. But I’m happy that you ended up with a beautiful, functional lamp.

Love it!! And yes, your weather was crazy! We had hail and cold yesterday, but today is even colder. I want Spring before we hit summer!!! But really, a spring like summer would be perfect for the August wedding!

I totally love that lamp. I think it is in the Mission style? OMG. I love that lamp. I am going to look for a similar style for my bedroom. Good job, hubby!

Rather pretty. I hope he finds another project soon. We had a ‘simple fix’ success during this lockdown ourselves. Our vaccum cleaner pipe split and nothing would be sucked into the machine. Husband suggested ordering a new machine online (thinking £££ we would have to spend!). I, however, researched getting a new pipe online (£) which fixed it perfectly. Now I am wondering if/how/when I could spend the ‘saving’ on something a little more interesting…

My husband has been churning out projects like crazy. I don’t know what we’ll do when he can’t find another one to do. We’ll be in trouble!
