Yesterday Was Weird

Knitting content: The shawl grows.

Weird: We had snow and it was cold! We also had hail. New England weather is so unpredictable. I hope spring returns and sticks this time.

  1. Getting really curious about when you’ll do your first garter row. I think I have settled on garter-eyelet-garter as the first pattern.

So trippy how some states are having snow this late in the spring.

  3. Last year we had a bomb cyclone that left heavy snow and broke one of my trees. I hope that this storm treats you well!

  5. We’re meant to get down to -1 degrees today – I’m not impressed! May needs to sort itself out.

Snow + cold is winter, hail is summer. Spring is between winter and summer, right? Sounds like spring! 😉

oh my goodness. Our spring lasted for about 2 days here and then summer hit us hard. Here I am swimming in our pool and you are wearing winter coats! This is just crazy! I think 2020 needs to be a do over!

  11. We had a day here a few days ago where I don’t think it got above 70. This time of year in Florida, we normally don’t have much of a spring, it’s more of a “Summer Lite” (all the heat and about half the humidity). I should have taken advantage of it, as I tend to get more reading done outside. The last few days have been pretty nice temperature wise, although we’ve had some bursts of rain at night. Today it’s cloudy with the temperature around normal for this time of year (right around 80). It’ll get hot again eventually.

I was up covering my tomato plants, 3 inches high, with sheets only to have the sheets to get wet and have to replace with dry sheets. The wind kept blowing them off I gave up. I don’t know how but they survived and are doing well. Crazy weather

The weather was weird here in May too. It went from cold to hot so many times, I thought mother natures was having hot flashes.
