I knit two squares yesterday for the blanket. I also did some math. Each square is about 3.25 inches. I’d like a blanket that would cover the top of my bed. It’s a full size. So I figured a 20 squares per row would be good. So 20 by 20 would cover the bed nicely. Yikes! That’s 400 squares.
I still haven’t found the size 7 29 inch needle. I know I have one since I found the package. Tomorrow I’ll take a deeper look. It’s around here, somewhere.
Finally the Loopy Groupy forum on Ravelry is doing a Ramp up to Camp KAL/CAL. It starts May 1 and runs until May 31. I’ve tentatively picked a pattern and since stash yarn (purchased from The Loopy Ewe of course) is allowed that is my plan. There are further requirements but I’ll talk about that once I’ve gathered everything.

If you do two squares a day, you’ll finish easily by Christmas.
Could the needle be holding the stitches of a project started and set aside? That is how I discovered a forgotten needle a few weeks ago.

Oh Myles, you melt my heart! That is a lot of squares, but just take them a couple a day, and you’ll be there before you know it 🙂 Can’t wait to see what you pick for your ramp up to camp project!

If you knit just one square a day that means you will be done by winter 2022. I’ve had a lot of projects on the needles for longer than that. You’ve got this.
