Sock It To Me Monday On Tuesday

I did just barely more than I said. I got the leg stitches on the needle and off the crocheted cast on and then knit exactly two rows.

I did get other things done. I watered the plants, organized the mail that has been stacking up on the dining room table, paid a bunch of bills, made a couple of phone calls, went to the bank and walked 6.5 miles. My legs are still tired.

    • We do it in two parts, one big loop in the early part of the day and then again after dinner. We normally are done eating by 5:30 and have plenty of sunlight for a nice walk. It’s my favorite time of day to walk.

Hurrah for the outdoors, t is so lovely to be outside in good weather! Have you planted anything in a pot? I have been amazed at how good it feels to watch a seedling grow right now…it must be good for the soul I think!

What a nice day for a walk. I had to first solid night of sleep in over a week. Of course, I don’t know if I want breakfast or lunch now, but it feels good to feel rested.

I have been sewing more than knitting. OK, I haven’t knit since Sunday and that was barely any! But I am sewing masks, made my first head cover, and now back to my block making! I am getting behind in the wedding topper area too! Must knuckle under and stop making masks. I think the rest of the US has that covered right now.

    • Would you believe I made masks today. I am a horrible seamstress but managed to get them done because we have been asked to wear them to the grocery store and the doctors office or any other place people congregate.
