Spring!

So far there is only one but spring is arriving. What signs of spring (or fall) do you see in your area?

Happy St Patrick’s Day if that’s your thing. We’ll be partaking in corned beef and cabbage for dinner.

No flowers yet here. It will probably be May before anything blooms.

  2. Thanks for sharing – daffodils are so beautiful and cheery 🙂 Not much by way of spring signs here, and likely won’t be for a while. Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you!

I’m in the Northeast US. We don’t get spring. We call it “Second Winter”. AND we got a ton of snow this morning.

Happy St. Patrick’s day to you too! 💚🍀

  4. I’ve seen a few daffodils (one of my favorite flowers) and lots of blooming forsythia bushes. My daffodil and lilies-of-the valley bulbs are still in my garage after I dug them up during a landscaping project in 2016. I wonder if they will come back to life…if I ever get around to planting them.

Here in the southern plains we have daffodils, wild flowering plums, flowering magnolias and grape hyacinths. The forsythia are just beginning to show color.

One is all it takes! Our Japanese Maple is sending out the tiniest of buds, crocus are in bloom and the young man next door already did our spring yard clean up!!

Just noticed a full stand of daffodils yesterday on my walk. Surprised since it still freezing here. Also my magnolia tree is about to burst into bloom, way early. Felt sick on St Pattys Day so saved the corn beef for then 18th. I had managed to score a small organic one from Whole Foods on my binge buy early in this crisis. Wish I had bought a leg of lamb for Easter since it looks like I won’t be going shopping for a long time.
