WIP Wednesday: Getting Closer All The Time

Yesterday was a pretty good knitting day considering all the other stuff I had to do. I finished the heel flap, turned the heel, finished the gusset decreases and then did the few plain rows. Now I am ready to start the chart for the back again part of the There and Back Again socks.

I wasn’t sure when I started the second sock that I’d be happy making complimentary socks but as it turns out I really like them.

I wish I could say that today promises a load of knitting time. It doesn’t. I’ve got a disaster of a house to clean, chili to make, laundry that needs dealing with and a couple of errands I’ve got to run. Maybe there will be time after dinner.

I really like the way the socks are coming out. The pattern is really conducive to reversing colors.
