We walked today but not for long. It was cold though not below freezing. There was just enough breeze across the water to make it uncomfortable. I don’t know if you can tell but part of the lake has a coating of ice. It isn’t thick enough to walk on but it is supporting things that fall or are thrown on to it.
It felt good getting outside. I enjoyed the cold clear air. Unfortunately after I was home a while I started to feel the telltale signs of a cold coming on. The Husband and N have been sick for the past week. I guess it’s finally my turn.
It’s a balmy 18 degrees here today. I more scurried than walked when I was outside today. I hope you get over your cold quickly!

Hope your cold goes fast, I highly recommend Airborne, if you’ve not tried it before, but with everyone else sick, I imagine you have been loading up on vitamins, etc. Hope it is quickly gone.

Hope you are just feeling a tickle and it doesn’t become full blown! I am glad there are no school children in my home right now!!! Our ailments are more age related now than germ related. LOL

How are you feeling this morning? We had a two hour delay. I was secretly hoping for a snow day. OK, I lie, I was not secret about it at all. I hope you are knitting the sniffles away!

I am on the edge of being sick or really sick. I got some Airborne and hope my immune system will kick in strong:)

I just brewed myself a mug of daily immunity tea. My husband has a client from Peru and she sends us bags of medicinal teas at the holidays. It tastes like arse, but maybe that means it’s legit. Feel better!! xoxo

I hope you are feeling better soon. Maybe the fresh air from your walk will make the cold move on faster.

Cold walks are invigorating! Sorry you are getting sick, though. That sucks. Go curl up under a warm blanket with books, knitting and miles. Let everyone take care of things for a change!

So glad you got out into the fresh air for a little bit, though it was maybe a bit too fresh. Hope the cold passes you by – rest and fluids!
