Myles On Alert

Since we rearranged rooms and moved our bedroom upstairs Myles has been spending more time in the living room. His go to spot was always the bed before. Whenever there is any action outside I find him looking out the window. The highlight yesterday was an oil delivery. He was completely obsessed with the truck. He didn’t bark at all. If he had thumbs he would open the front door and invite everyone in.

Myles is so much fun! Max goes bonkers when violins come in to practice…he has to greet each one and gets right under their feet while they take their instrument out. Yesterday was a double whammy, a violinist arrived along with my box of KnitPicks wool….I opened it, and he sat by it the rest of the day, sniffing it appreciatively! Cracked me up!

Mini Cooper lays on the back of our couch to watch the backyard. iNDy puts his front paws on an army trunk in my front window to watch the street. They have all but the side yards covered! Of course they would attack any intruder with kisses, so not sure how effective their sentries are.

My mom’s dog is like that – there are no strangers, only people she hasn’t licked yet.

Myles needs his own little chair! Our kittens like to look out the window. They stay in one of the kids’ rooms during the day for a couple of hours and I make sure to open the blinds so they can look outside.
