WIP Friday: Confused Edition

When a holiday is stuck in the middle of the week I tend to lose track of the days. I think of the holiday as Sunday and then I’m confused for the rest of the week. I keep thinking that today is Tuesday but it is in fact Friday. Am I the only one experiencing this?

Anyway, it’s been a few days since I’ve shown you my Firiel shawl. Of course I’ve hardly worked on it. I did get a few rows done last night. It is still a fun knit but after a few days off I feel slow again. Now that the obligations of Christmas are past I’m hoping to get a bit more knitting time. How are your projects going?

  2. It’s looking beautiful! I have likewise not had a lot of time to knit, but hopefully will have lots of time over the next couple days!

It’s so pretty! I didn’t knit once yesterday. I napped on the couch instead. It was great.

I am on vacation this week, so have no clue what the day is! I didn’t get a lot of knitting done on Wednesday, but am making up for it now. I have two lovely mindless knits happening. One is a lot of garter, the other a lot of stockinette. Today there will be sewing, weaving, knitting and maybe some spinning! Can you tell I am home alone? 😝

  5. I’m retired and I never know what day it is except for Sunday’s when I go to church and since I went to church for Christmas, I’m totally confused, too!
I haven’t touched my knitting since last weekend. Maybe today. Gotta get back into my groove soon!

I haven’t done one stitch as the knitting store here is closed for the entire holiday 😢😖

I got the last 2 Christmas hats done, but they still need to be shipped! Now to focus on my shawl and hopefully get it done before the end of the year.

  11. I keep thinking today is Saturday. Your shawl is looking so lovely! I am knitting on my advent shawl and trying to get a cross stitch finished before the end of the year. Happy Stitching!

  12. I’ve been knitting a cardigan for my husband. I got a little done this week, including Christmas day while he slept after his graveyard shift. I’m only an inch or so away from separating for the back and sides. I’m hoping to have the body done in the next couple of weeks. I realized yesterday I don’t have enough yarn for the sleeves, so I’ll be making a mad dash out at some point trying to match the yarn. Poor planning.

I’ve been lost on days all week too! No knitting for me for two to three weeks😡. I have tendinitis and have to wear a splint, so I’m good to accompany at the concerto competition. Ugh!!!

  15. Making a fairly mindless scarfish thing and had to frog because I can’t count – but I’m about to transfer it to the new needles I got for Christmas so I’m kind of excited about that. (Addi click set)

Finished my last project on Christmas Day, just mattress stitching a seam, but I felt exactly the same about Friday. I couldn’t shake the feeling that it was Tuesday all day

I’m almost done with two queen sized temperature blankets – two more days! Never again 🤣. I’ll be casting on my first sweater in the round on New Years Eve.

Oh man, there was no sense of time during winter break. We went to bed later and later and would wake up past 10, but we sure slept good!
