Rounding The Corner

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. They really made my day.

I mostly got the day I planned. Most importantly there was knitting. While watching Love Actually (a favorite holiday movie) I was able to turn the corner on the shawl. I past the longest increase row and have moved on to the decrease rows. Things should move much more quickly now, one of the best things about knitting a sideways shawl.

Today the Christmas prep moves back into the foreground. There are cookies to bake and a few more cards to write. The big day is right around the corner!

A belated Happy Birthday!! I have been behind on reading blogs lately! And send some of those goodies my way when you are done!! I got sugar cookies made, but not iced. I may eat them all before that happens!
