Weekend Knitting

How was your weekend? Mine was good but they’re never long enough. I could use another day. I did spend some time knitting. Of course it wasn’t as much as I would have liked. It never is. I’m nearly finished with the section I’m working on. Another day or two and I’ll move on to the straight section. The best thing I have to say is that I have memorized this section. It makes the knitting much quicker when I don’t have to read each row as I begin it. Of course when I move on to the next section I’m bound to make a mistake or two confusing these rows with the next section. I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.

I always run into problems when I have the rows memorized, because they change but I keep doing the same old! It’s lovely and will be gorgeous when done.

Happy to say I finished three projects this weekend. I only have one fairly easy Cowl to finish before Christmas but I can work on it all the way up to Christmas day. What a relief!

  9. There should definitely be an extra day in the weekend; two is just not enough. Your scarf looks really pretty, especially in that yarn. it does make me think of ice cream!
