Something I’d Like To Try

Thank you all for the well wishes. I still feel icky but I’m functional so I can’t complain. I did have to take a couple of days off from knitting. My nose was too runny and my head too foggy. Hopefully today will be a return to knitting day.

The Husband and I got out for a brief time yesterday while the temperature was in the in the high 40’s. We took a walk by the lake where the Girl Scouts keep their kindness rock garden. That is where I found the rock in the photo. I just had to bring it home. It reminds me of all the dogs I’ve had in my life.

This brings me to the point here. I’ve been pinning ideas on Pinterest for months now about painting on rocks. I love the idea of leaving inspiration for others. So during the winter when I’m more likely to be at home I’m planning to give this a try. I hope I can muster up enough talent.

*This is an edited version of the original post. I’ve been having problems with the WordPress app not saving my completed draft if I try to add a link or photo once I’ve written part of a post. It seems to stick with an auto-saved version. Has anyone else run into this problem or is it just me??

  3. I had the same problem the other day, nearly lost a huge long post I’d written. Thank goodness for the ‘history’ option so I could get it back.

  4. I don’t think I’ve ever had that happen with my drafts. My advice is to hit the save button during the course of your writing even though it autosaves.

  5. People leave rocks at the park where we walk. I’ve found a couple that just so spoke to me that I brought them home and placed them in my faerie garden

I too love the idea of painted rocks .. would it be too much to ask to share your rock painting adventure .. I would like to find out how to do this as well.

I don’t use the app to create a blog post because things are hard to move around, etc.
