I am thrilled to report that I finished my socks! What a great pattern. It’s so nice to find a pattern that is both fancy and easy to remember. So many fancy sock patterns require too much attention. I will knit another pair of these at some point.
The pattern is Classic Cable Sox by Sue Whitmer. The yarn is Cascade Heritage in red. As I said the pattern is fabulous. I followed it except for the toe. I did my usual wide toe for my wide feet. The Cascade Heritage yarn is a work horse yarn. I like the fact that it comes in so many colors and that the price is reasonable.
These socks are my first project for Loopy Grad School where my major is socks. The requirement for this pair is a pattern with a chart.
Lovely! Now you are set for fall. I finished a pair of socks yesterday too. The first sock was fun, but I thought the second sock would never, ever be finished.

Your socks look quite comfy and well-fitted. I’m a big fan of Cascade Heritage also. I have used it in socks, scarves, even sweaters.
