WIP Wednesday: Why Bother

There really isn’t much of a change to the sock since I showed it to you last. I decided not to do another repeat and now that I’ve completed the heel flap I’m wondering if I should have. It seems like I’m always second guessing myself lately.

There hasn’t been time for knitting really. N had a cross country meet yesterday. While they did lose the meet (the girls lost too) it was a meet that won’t count because the team is out of our league or whatever it’s called. N was thrilled to have a great race and score a new personal best on the home course. The meet next week should be more exciting.

Today and tomorrow hold more promise for actual knitting time. Well, that is what I hope anyway.

  2. It is looking great! You chose a great shade of red, and the cables are beautiful! I second guess myself all the time, so I know what you mean 🙂

Kudos to N on his PB! I say just keep knitting, will you really miss the repeat?

  6. It looks great. If you decide it is too short you can tell yourself it is a fall sock not a winter sock. I like to have a few pairs of transitional socks to get me from sandals to tall socks.

Do the teenagers get rough in cross country. My neighbor’s son last week was sharing how one of his friends was all telling him how there’s shoving and stuff during a CYO meet.
