Notice the gray discoloration in the center of window. Yeah, the window is shattered. I couldn’t get a good photo of it. It never fails, when you have a plan there is always a wrinkle. The Husband and N hurried yesterday to get our overgrown lawn mowed while the roofers were working at H’s house. They didn’t notice until we were getting ready to head out that the window was broken. No doubt a rock was kicked up while The Husband was weed whacking. This isn’t the first time. Anyway, I am the lucky one who will spend the day at home waiting for the glass repair guy. Before I went to sleep last night I carefully planned out my day: pay bills, strip beds, do laundry, write blog post and spend the rest of the day knitting. Once I hit publish on this I am free to knit the day away. How are you spending your Saturday?
A good plan! I have to work today, so I was up making dilled green beans this am before it got hot, hoping the kitchen would cool down, and I think it worked. After work, I need to pick up my cross stitch, which I haven’t touched since the last SAL! OOPS! I think tomorrow I will be able to knit again, finally. The cut on my hand has finally gotten to the point where nothing opens the scab anymore, so it will be good to knit again!

Sorry about your window. So far I didn’t do much. Took some pictures of our mimosa tree. I never knew butterflies love those trees. Bill wants to cut it down but I want to cut another tree and large shrub out. Knitting this afternoon and evening. Maybe outside. Lovely day.

Recovering from three days with two of the grands. Whew! Helped Mr. Aitch clean the 75-gallon fish tank but plan to knit this afternoon.

At home attempting to figure out digital bullet journaling, then the library to finish downloading something that wanted to take forever. Still at the library. Had some cleaning stuff to do, but… next week, I guess…

So sorry about the broken window! DH and I went out for a quick lunch and to pick up a few things. I am almost caught up with blog reading – next I will write my own post for the day, then on to some knitting!

Oh no! I hope you got a lot of knitting done. We had a family reunion in town, so I spent the day catching up with cousins.

Oh, no! Sorry about your broken window. It reminds me of the time years ago when the husband broke the front window in the car – from the inside of the car! He was trying to jam in some cabinets and they just needed a little extra room – pop!

I spent my Saturday, yesterday, doing Guiding and playing Uno and Scrabble against a 14-year-old. Was super.

Very little knitting – grocery shopping, making salad for potluck, some wood stacking, a couple of hours kayaking down the Connecticut river, potluck dinner with a dozen friends.

You might want to move the car from now on when your husband plays landscaper 😬

You’d have thought he’d have learned that the first time. This was the second:(

Hmm, that was last Saturday. I think we ended up being homebodies as usual.
