I think I missed posting yesterday. Oh well. I was probably too tired.
I didn’t get a full repeat done yesterday but I did get a half of one done today. I also did laundry, dishes and made a real dinner. Not a good dinner, damn you pretty pictures on Pinterest that are actually recipes that suck.
The shawl, Grateful Moments by Sylvia McFadden, is coming along. The pattern is easy to remember but some of the rows are too easy so I have made a couple of mistakes and had to tink back. We are one week into the month and the worry voice is my head is clearing it’s throat and trying to get my attention. I’m ignoring it. I should be able to get this done and everything else too. Famous last words…
Bummer about the unsuccessful recipes. That’s the challenge of trying something new… but the old favorites can get boring. Good luck with your shawl!

Very pretty. I hope the world doesn’t come to an end if you don’t finish a project on time. Why the pressure?

It’s a group challenge. I have completed the other projects for this summer after completing all the projects for the previous 6 or 7 years. I’d hate to miss one now.

I get it, of course. But I think these challenges should be fun, and the pressure shouldn’t keep you awake at night. Sounds like you have a busy family too. On the other hand, I think you choose beautiful and challenging projects, and I always enjoy seeing your updates and progress. 😊

It is looking great. I hate it when pinterest fails me. I hope your dinner tomorrow is better.

It is my opinion that you should leave notes about your results of that recipe on Pinterest so others are forewarned.

Oh, I hear you about the pretty pictures of food that is terrible. Tomorrow’s supper will be better! Your shawl is looking lovely! And also, you can definitely do it 🙂
