What an amazing day! I got a bunch of errands done early and then The Husband and I headed over to walk. We did nearly 5 miles. My feet are sore. But the weather was fantastic: 83 degrees and sunny. There was a little sun shower but it was at the end of our walk and felt really refreshing.
I did a quick bit of research over the weekend on photo hosting services. Google photos looks like the best though Imgur is a close second. I still have a little space here so I haven’t tried anything yet. When I do I’ll report again.
Hmmm you have me curious about the photo hosting as I have to delete pictures every time I want to add one😖

Currently that is what I’m doing too. I used to have my photos hosted at Photobucket. They’re good but I used my free limit there. I also used my upload limit at Flickr. That’s what happens when you have a blog for more than 10 years.

Ok so you have your photos on WordPress and somewhere else?

You store them elsewhere and using a link they appear on your blog. It uses up space at the hosting location and not on your blog.

Oh that might be next avenue then as I miss including lots of pictures in my posts!

Your day sounds perfect, except the lack of knitting. and warm – you have a warm day! We are having a pretty warm day, but the sun keeps disappearing and it showers. Sky is black at the moment, because I have to go out to my car shortly.

I am just deleting as I go, but only usually have 85% usage in WordPress. I just delete old things, or progress photos. I figure, who goes back to read posts from 3 years ago! LOL

Sounds like a lovely day! And thanks for sharing your view 🙂
Will be interested to hear how the photo thing goes for you – I’m getting to the end of my free storage too…

You go on the 5 miles. I hope the photo options work out for you. I had read somewhere to make my photos 600 pixels or less so after a year, I’ve barely used storage for my blog.

Karen- what did you decide to do about your photos? I’m starting a trail clinic and know I’m going to want to post lots of pictures but am out of WordPress space. Would love to hear what you’ve found works the best:)

I am just deleting old unnecessary photos at this point. From my very cursory search Google Photos looks like the best option.
