WIP Wednesday: Small Ball Edition

As you can see the shawl is larger and the ball of yarn is getting very small. And that’s all I have to say about that.

I have reached maximum capacity of photos on the blog. I knew it was coming so I have decided to go back and delete unnecessary photos from early posts. I’m going to leave the knitting photos and people photos for now and mainly delete food or excess scenery photos. We’ll just have to see how this works out.

Yesterday I discovered a new to me true crime podcast called The First Degree. It’s crime stories told by people who are one degree away from the crime. I don’t know how I missed this! It’s really well done and very interesting. I highly recommend it if true crime/human interest stories are your thing.

I feel your pain! I have to do the same thing now and then. And someday, commit to a chunk of time resizing and reloading photos, then relinking them to old posts… sigh.

I’m in the process of getting rid of unnecessary photos too- so time consuming:(

Are you downsizing your photos before posting them? For online viewing, they don’t have to have really high resolution. You could buy yourself some space that way.

I guess it’s because you’ve had your blog so long that you’re maxing out? I made sure my photos are no more than 600 pixels when uploading them for posting. I learned that trick from reading somewhere via Google.

  6. I was at New Hampshire Sheep and Wool last weekend; for my photo take on it all, go to my blog (kayak2016blog.wordpress.com) The weather couldn’t have been better – and spending much of the weekend knitting meant I almost finished the lace top I’ve been working on! All ends woven in yesterday, blocked today, and drying – and socks started for the next project, because I seem to have forgotten to carry with me the two UFOs I wanted to work on while visiting in CT. Sigh.
