WIP Wednesday: Something New

After packing up all the yarn I had pulled out for the ill fated Fade I dug deep into the stash for a skein of yarn that wanted to be agreeable. I found a lovely skein of Periwinkle Sheep watercolors in the stones dancing in the fog color. It’s been part of the stash for quite some time and wanted its time in the sun shall we say. I knew right away what it wanted to be. I was gifted the pattern by Chris a bit ago, the Geology Shawl by Verybusymonkey. I’ve nearly completed the first level and so far so good. Before casting on I read through the helpful hints and forum posts. The only real things I saw didn’t apply to my project since I plan to knit it as per the pattern. Let’s hope the other layers go along as smoothly as the first.
