Inside the pie. As you can see the apples collapsed and let go of a lot of juice. The pie tasted better today than it did yesterday. The only thing I don’t like about pie is that in this house it’s gone in a couple of days.

  2. I sprinkle a little semolina over the fruit before putting on the pie crust, this thickens the juices released from the fruit.

  3. That’s not a bad thing 😊, it means they love it. In my house, there’s usually no sign that I spent hours baking by the end of that day, unless I keep them out of sight.
