The fridge is stocked. The house is clean enough. Today is pie day. I’ve got two to bake. Then after dinner I’ll prep things for Thanksgiving dinner.
In between pies and prep I plan to knit. We’ll have to wait and see if that happens since H will be home and N has a half day.

Put H and N to work so you get more knitting time, not less! Get your priorities right, lady! π€ͺππ

Sounds like you have tackled your list and have a plan for today. I hope there is time for knitting in between all the holiday prep. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Girl #2 is still home in visa purgatory, but the bright side is that she will be here for her first Thanksgiving in six years, and wants total control!π I gave it to here….I’m hiding in my sewing room in between parent conferences….one more to go before the festivities begin. I still can’t believe my good fortune, once I make her a batch of cornbread, I am off the hook until table setting…maybe!

I was going to make the icebox pumpkin mousse pie today but said forget it. I’ll do it tomorrow morning. I got my shopping done Monday and Tuesday and am glad I got it done with. Costco was busy with Executive Membership ppl and usually it’s more quiet when I go at 9. The next day was TJ’s and Safeway.

I knit this morning while BioGirl online shopped for her and PurdueBeau for Christmas from us. Easy peasy shopping, just the way I like it! I only have 6 gifts left to buy!!! May your Thanksgiving be all the awesome you desire and deserve!

It was pie day for me too. I made four, because I always think pies come together quickly. Every year I’m surprised by how long they take.

I did 2 pies it it took about 4 hours from start to finish. They took longer than I expected because I tried a new crust recipe. I hope itβs good:)
