Squeezed Knitting

Yesterday was crazy busy. N was supposed to have a meet in the morning but we were having heavy-ish rain so they rescheduled to today. That caused me to swap my today errands to yesterday. Then N added a few extra to the list. We hit all the usuals: groceries, Target, dog food, and then we went on the search for a massage roller. After two misses we finally hit a store that had one that N liked. Finally we had dinner and I got a few things done around the house. Knitting didn’t happen until after 9.

Fortunately the new project I’ve started is easy to knit and has clear and easy to follow instructions. I didn’t get much done but I feel like I’m on the way. The pattern is Perfect Retreat Shawl by Susan B Anderson. The yarn is Cascade Heritage in grey. I am planning to knit the larger version.

Now I just have to squeeze in the time to knit it. We’re off to N’s meet today and then I’ve got to get the house and everything else in order for the week. I should have some time to knit while I’m getting the laundry done. I hope someone out there is enjoying a relaxing weekend!

Good luck to N at his meet. It made me happy to read you were knitting one of Susan’s patterns.
