I had every intention of posting this yesterday once I had bound off the last of it. Unfortunately by the time I sat down to complete the last of the stitches it was after 8pm so it made sense to just save it for today.
I can’t capture the color correctly. It’s what I’d call a fall rainbow. As you can see all the colors are there but what you don’t see is the tone which is fall like. Once we get a nice day I’ll see if I can get a photo outside in sunlight. We currently have clouds and rain. It seems like that is our weather theme lately.
The pattern is Close to You by Justyna Lorkowska. The yarn is Malabrigo yarn sock in Diana A (886). The pattern is a pleasure to knit. Once you’ve done a couple of repeats it’s easy to remember. The yarn is lovely and soft. It’s 100% merino. I will knit this pattern again. I think the shawl would make a really nice gift.
This is for The Knights of the Loopy Table challenge. I knit an extra repeat using just over 420 yards to meet the 40 point level.
It’s really beautiful. I love the way the lacy part sort of swirls.

I totally love that pattern. I’ve made two of these shawls and am thinking of starting a third in Christmas yarn. I just love yours! Great colors.

it’s still lovely no matter how the color reads! Hope you find time to knit today amid all the plans.

Very nice! The color way is similar to “Arcoiris” which I’ve used before. Malabrigo is always such a luxury to wear and knit with.

It’s gorgeous but bear in mind, photos look best (color show up) when the sky is 18% gray. A nice even cloudy day is perfect outside.
