WIP Wednesday: Halloween Edition

Happy Halloween! Are you ready to be invaded by ghosts and goblins looking for candy? I’m as ready as I’m going to get. I don’t expect to be overrun so I should have some knitting time between witches and demons.

Close To You continues to grow while the ball gets smaller and smaller. My mind is already wandering to my next project. I can’t decide if I’ll finish the plain socks and then move on to another shawl or maybe I’ll cast on the shawl. Either way I’m looking forward to wrapping up Close To You and moving on to something else.

  3. Halloween and Valentine’s Day are the two celebrations that leave me totally cold. Here in the UK I will be joining in the (admittedly early) Bonfire Night celebrations at a local cafe partly run by local prisoners with my family on Friday evening – much more to my taste than Halloween.

That shawl will be stunning!! I am hoping by December I can cast on a shawl for me!!! But I doubt it will happen before Jan 2019

  6. The shawl is looking so beautiful! I hope you get time to finish it tonight. That ball is looking pretty small. I am still itching to get back to my crochet blanket, but the elbows are still healing. I may give it a try this weekend ;). I look forward to seeing your next project 🙂

I didn’t buy candy to pass out today. Anyways not sure what time we’ll get home from the tournament. The youngest is taken care of her as she’s happy she has plans w/her girlfriends tonight.

  12. I didn’t get a single trick or treat-er, but after taking nearly 1.5 hours to get home (9 miles) from work I was pretty glad for the peace and quiet!
