I got a lovely box of fun from The Loopy Ewe yesterday. It thrills me that it only takes two days for my package to arrive from Colorado but those last few hours are always the hardest. Once I see on the tracking that it’s out for delivery I have my nose pressed to the window wondering if every vehicle I hear is the letter carrier. It isn’t. Yesterday we left here at 11:30 to pick N up at school after his final exams to treat him to lunch out. According to the tracking my package arrived at 11:34. I got it closer to 2:00 by the time we finished lunch and I picked H up at the subway. It was totally worth the wait though. On the right is the JulieSpins Euro 820 Fingering that is for my July project. The color is called abalone. It’s a huge 820 yard skein. Above the skein is the cowboy finger puppet we got. It’s just a little added treat to go along with the cowboy camp theme. The skein on the left is Dream In Color that is the reward for completing senior year of Loopy Academy. The honors gift, for completing the extra credit, is a package with cute little tags. I just love the fun things they pick out!
Now I’ve got to finalize my pattern choice, buy the pattern and wind the yarn. I can’t wait for July 1 so I can cast on!
