I’m still making progress on Fractal Danger. I’ve started the next, um, turn I’ll call it. I can feel the end of the project coming. The ball of yarn is getting small. Once this is done I’ll hop back to Pogona until July 1. That seems forever away but it is only a few short weeks.
If you’ve been reading around here for a while you’ll know I’m not great with change and damn it this past week to ten days has been nothing but change. You know you’ve reached your limit when your eyes begin to tear at the sight of a dead squirrel on the side of the road. So I’ll be living in the moment as much as possible and trying to remember to let the things I can’t change just go.
I hope that things settle out for you and all is OK. Your shawl is looking great!

All is ok. It’s just the usual transitions with a few extra changes that has thrown me off kilter.

The shawl is splendid! My oldest is “allergic” to change, always has been. Each time she had to size up to a new violin is was disaster for weeks while she mourned. She still gets stressed by changes too. Hope your transitions finish so you can feel more settled very soon!

The shawl is beautiful. Sorry to hear about all your stress. I’m taking some deep, cleansing breaths for you. Can you feel your heart settle?

The shawl is really coming along! It’s also very pretty, can’t wait to see it blocked :).
I also do not do change very well, I use to do much better with change but not anymore. Like you I tend to tear up when things are a little overwhelming, which lately seems like all the time. Sometimes I tell myself it would be easier if I had a companion to share things with, but that too has it’s own issues. So for the time being I do my best to handle change by myself and let the Lord and Holy Spirit guide me. They frequently let me cry when I feel frustrated, and then offer assistance when I’ve gotten it out of my system :P.

The shawl is gorgeous! Sorry to hear things are overwhelming right now. I hope things will settle down. Will ice cream help??

Our squirrels here like to run out into the street when one is driving by. I’ve slammed on my brakes many times.

hope life settles soon, but in the meantime, pick up the needles whenever you can and create more beauty. This shawl is simply gorgeous.

Oh I hope all is okay and that your yarn projects can provide some distraction for you! I don’t like change either:)
