A Little Tease

Yesterday was a bear. N is still coughing. I think we’ve turned a corner on that though. At 3:30AM the boxes we stacked in the basement the other day toppled over. It was jarring to say the least. Getting back to sleep was a challenge. Then after the usual morning stuff I had a doctors appointment that lasted for nearly an hour and a half. Most of that time was spent waiting for my doctor. She was doing many things at once and we had many interruptions. It’s the story of my life. When I got home I didn’t have time to knit so I only have the ribbing from one armhole to show you. The pattern is written so well. It makes a beautifully shaped trim. Maybe I’ll get to the other one today.

When H got off the subway last night she brought home an early Mother’s Day treat for us all: cupcakes from the new Magnolia Bakery in Boston. The one with the white frosting was mine and it was delectable! I enjoyed every bite. I hope it doesn’t mess too much with the cholesterol test I had to have this morning.

I hate when the doc is distracted like that! But I know it happens sometimes, they are in such demand! Glad N is feeling better, that must be a relief. The teaser vest looks great, almost there! And the cupcakes – ! Yummy and worth it if they messed up a test or two!

It is almost done!!! The ribbed border looks good (lol, I almost spelled boarder, but then it’s been living in your project bag for a while so maybe it is both :P), do they have any instructions for if you wanted it to have long sleeves? Those cupcakes look yummy!

    • No there aren’t instructions to do long sleeves but if you look at Deb Hoss patterns on Ravelry there are some cute long sleeved sweaters. This is the second Deb Hoss pattern I’ve knit and both have been excellent! I can’t recommend them enough:)

I like how they iced those cupcakes. I also like how the container has room for fingers to grab the cupcakes, not smooshing them in any way.
