Lectured Again

Yesterday I sat down and had a stern talk with myself. I’ve been lazing about on my phone and/or iPad instead of finishing up the Emily vest. There is so little remaining. I just have to do the last couple of rows around the neck and the ribbing at the armholes. Really it’s about 3 hours work maximum. But instead of getting it done I waste time and then feel guilty for not getting it done.

I’ve had a little outside push to get this done. Myles has been overly interested in the yarn. I don’t know if the Cascade 220 is extra sheepy or what. Three or four times he’s pulled it from its bag and dragged it into the other room. When he and it are on the bed he shoves his face deep into it. So between his interest and my guilt I’ve got to spend today getting this done.

Oh my god! Myles is another Yarn Rascal. YR does the same thing when he likes a yarn he moves it into what he’s claimed as his little room upstairs. Doesn’t matter if it on needles or not. The whole thing goes. Ah Myles, you crafty little wonder you!

What a character Myles is! And what a nice mama you are to let him do those things to your yarn.
