Whiny Post Ahead

The photo has nothing to do with the post. I just couldn’t make you listen to a whine without seeing something nice.

Yesterday I spent just over 3 hours at the dentist. I had a small cavity filled, a crown replaced and a new crown. It was bad. Fortunately I like my dentist. I don’t think I’ve ever had so much novocaine in my life. One side of my jaw feels bruised and both joints ache. The worst part is I’ve got to be careful with what I eat so I don’t pop the temporary crowns off. At least I can knit right!

Ugh! You poor thing! Last time I experienced that, I had muscle spasms in my jaw and a full blown migraine by the time it was all over. I love my dentist too, but I have since learned my limit. Love your knitting progress. More knitting. Less drilling!

  8. That sounds terrible. But yes, at least you can knit. And have all the nice stuff, like cake, and ice cream, and whatever else you can have that is soft and sippy. Like nice tea or coffees. Get better and enjoy your knitting. Hugs.

Ouch! I feel your pain. I will end up back in braces, or this time Invisalign type product. My sister’s dog ate my retainers! Gah! I have a tongue thrust issue so I keep pushing on my top front teeth. I can’t do permanent devices in my mouth, so the only route is removables. Hope you are better today.

Oh. My. Goodness. Worst nightmare! I am terrified of the dentist! And what stinks about that is I don’t go unless I have pain, which would actually be avoided if I went more often… ugh. I hope you feel better soon! And at least you don’t have to do that again!

  16. Oh no! The dentist is never a nice place to go, even if it’s routine stuff. I’m sorry you’re in so much pain and discomfort. If only knitting could take away all the pain in the world…
